the Michigan is a medium-small breed of human used mainly as company dogs due to their lack of physical strength. As a result of genectic abnormalities, such specimens have a tendency for depression and self-destructive behavior, with many venturing toward suicide. Michigans have an instinctive love of japanese animation and comic book series, and are easy to train to basic or advanced obedience standards.

History

the Michigan was developed in Japan in the early 21st century, becoming extinct in the late 2010s mainly from suicide. Most accounts have it that the average Michigan was subject to high levels of stress, loneliness, heartbreak (mostly associated with female humans) and bullying for a prolongued period of time before having a meltdown, resetting all its electronic devices to factory settings, writing a suicide note only a couple sentences long if any at all, and hanging itself only to have its soul sent to hell to spend the rest of eternity.

Description

Michigans are medium-large dogs, with a dense, water-repellent outer coat and a thick undercoat. The coat comes in various shades of gold, from light to dark. They shed copiously, particularly at the change of seasons, and require regular grooming. The breed is known for its kind, friendly and confident temperament.

Temperament

Likes

the Michigan is known for its preference for a reclusive lifestyle, going out to socialize only when strictly necessary or mandatory, claiming "3d people can't compare to my 2d girls". It spends its free time listening to japanese music sung by robots, sleeping, crying or cutting its arms. Its favourite food is said to be fried tofu and it hopes of some day having a cute moe girlfriend to love.

Disikes

famous for its tendency to pessimism, the average Michigan finds it much easier to have more dislikes than likes. For example, a Michigan becomes distressed around people in general (especially when around Raymond), when it's a little too hot outside or when subject to a headache. Showering, brushing its teeth, eating leafy greens, seeing others experiencing joy or being allowed access to the internet may also significantly increase the level of stress of the Michigan.

Health

Michigans are prone to specific health problems. They have a high incidence of cancer, with hemangiosarcoma being especially common. Hip and elbow dysplasia are also common. The average lifespan for the breed is 10 to 12 years.
